Self-love

Why do we talk down to ourselves? Why do we turn away from our flaws? Why do we criticize ourselves and others?

When we can accept ourselves and love ourselves for who we are, we can begin to find understanding and happiness within our beings. We need to be present with ourselves and understand that we are dynamic, constantly changing, growing and learning. Something that is not good today may be good tomorrow, and vice versa. We can work our whole lives trying to change ourselves from the outside in, but by opening our minds we can recognize how beautiful and unique we are. Our flaws make us interesting and give us character. If we cannot love ourselves, how can we expect others to do so? If we can accept ourselves and love our flaws, then other people can do the same.

Pushing the Limits

Limitations are all around us. Other people are constantly limiting us by trying to define our potential and telling us what we are capable of, but our potential has no limits. By recognizing and understanding the factors that limit us, we can challenge our limits and open up to our greater potential.
